Insert into the next stitch (bottom loop of the original chain)  and place a single crochet. Place the tail on top of the hook to carry it. Place a single crochet into the next stitch. Repeat until the last but one stitch. Place 3 single crochet into the last stitch.

2nd Round: Remove the stitch marker and place a single crochet into the insert your hook into the back loop of the first stitch to start the second round. Place the stitch marker back into that first stitch. Place a single crochet into the back loop of the next stitch. Repeat until you reach the triple stitch until at the other end of the original chain. Place two single crochet into each of these 3 stitches, back loop only. Place one single crochet into the next stitch. Repeat until the next triple stitch in the other corner. Place two single crochet into each of these 3 stitches, back loop only.

3d Round: Remove the stitch marker and place a single crochet into the insert your hook into the back loop of the first stitch to start the second round. Place the stitch marker back into that first stitch. Place a single crochet into the back loop of the next stitch. Repeat until the end of the round.

4th – 25th Round: Repeat  the 3d Round.

When you are left with one stitch to complete  the 25th round cut your yarn,  fasten off, remove the stitch-marker insert into both loops of the first stitch of the round and pull the tail out. Then insert into the back loop of the last stitch from the reverse side of your work and pull the tail in.  Thread the tail to your darning needle and weave it in at the reverse

side of your work. Make a knot before you cut the excess and burn the end with the lighter.

Apply the fur:

Make a slipknot with the eyelash yarn and the 3.5 mm hook. Trace the beginning of the 1st round. Insert your hook into the unworked front loop of the first stitch of the first round. Place a single crochet. Insert into the next front loop bring the tail on top of your hook to carry and place a single crochet. Repeat until you complete the last but one round. Cut your yarn, fasten off, thread the tail to the darning needle and weave in the exterior of the bag. Cut the excess.  Brush the fur for a richer result.

Attach the zipper:

Use some pins to mount the zipper in place. Sew the zipper from the inside of the bag with the sewing needle and thread, using the backstitch technique.

Attach the chain strap:

Open the lobster claw clamp at the end of the chain and insert under both loops of a stitch at one end of the zipper. Repeat at the other end.

Tips

  • I fill the bag with fur by placing single crochet stitches with the eyelash yarn. You could also place slip stitches to save some yarn.
  • It’s important to work the fury stitches really loose to avoid the open-loop slipping from your hook. If you suspect you might have slept a loop better unravel to make sure, before moving on. It will impossible to trace you slipped loop once you move away from that stitch.
  • Always make sure that you didn’t slip a stitch before brushing. The brush will pick up that slipped loop and I will unravel big parts of your round leaving you with one giant loop.

With no more delay, I will let you to grab your gear, watch the video and create an amazing Crochet Fur Bag!
